About Me

Lynn Arters has spent her life working in the non-profit sector helping youth and families develop strong bonds and moral character.  As a Systemic Therapist, she is committed to helping families achieve their desired outcomes in a compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere.  Lynn has extensive experience working with teenagers and families and currently works at a residential psychiatric facility for children aged 5-17.

Clinical Experience:
3 years experience with In-Patient and Out-Patient Crisis Management. Treatment included severe and persistent mental illness, addiction, trauma, eating and body image disorders, self-mutilation, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, major depressive disorders, borderline personality disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), defiance disorders, and bereavement.
2 years experience in Private Practice
25+ years experience Volunteer work with teens and parents in a non-profit setting.
